Job Summary
The Project Engineer provides direct supervision and execution of actual activities in the operations. They ensure that all technical requirements of on-site projects are met.
 
Job Description 
  • Interpret plans and specifications prior to construction. 
  • Schedule and coordinate work activities among his subordinates. 
  • Coordinate the requisition, issuances, and delivery to the work site of required materials and equipment. 
  • Supervise all works and operations being done within his control. 
  • Enforce the implementation of immediate quality control measure within his area of responsibility. 
  • Enforce all environmental, health and safety rules as well as security regulations on his assigned area of work. 
  • Plan the work and efficiently organize site resources in order to meet the agreed budget and the deadlines. 
  • Promote harmonious relationships among his subordinates. 
  • Evaluate, check and verify project accomplishment vis-a-vis budget. 
  • Prepare project status report for Project Manager. 
  • Keep and maintain the daily project log book and prepare weekly project status reports as required. 
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of said construction activities and ensure quality of work being done. 
  • In-charge of the over-all technical and administrative concerns in the site, including the staff, contractors and laborers under their supervision.
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned within their capability.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a professional license as an Engineer.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as Project Engineer and 1 year in a Supervisory capacity is an advantage. 
  • Effective in task prioritization while taking into account shifting demands and timelines. 
  • Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in managing documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to do field work as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
