Job Summary
The Safety Manager will represent the Company in all matters concerning its ISO Certifications. They are responsible for ensuring all policies, procedures, measures, and regulatory requirements pertaining to quality, environment, health, and safety are implemented and complied with within the company especially on project sites.

 

Job Description 
  • Oversee the documentation and compliance of the Company in all ISO matters.
  • Implement the company's Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure that QEHS inspection on equipment, work places and hazardous materials are being done on a periodic basis. 
  • Identify and analyze the degree of risk level at project sites. 
  • Implement policies on how to prevent and correct measures on identified aspects and hazards. 
  • Provide an analysis on accidents, investigation reports and submits it to the site and Head Office QEHS Committee. 
  • Prepare root cause analysis on incidents/accidents, to be included in the accident investigation reports. 
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. 
  • Preside the site's QEHS Committee in coordination with the respective Project Manager. 
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned within their capability. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering or other related discipline
  • Having a professional license is an advantage.
  • Must have at least 5 years of progressive experience in the same capacity, but experience as Safety Manager in Water Infrastructure or Vertical High-Rise Construction is an advantage. 
  • Adept in formulating policies, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures about Health and Safety.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Well-versed in Resources Management, Risk Management and People Management. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Adept in offering mentorship and guidance to subordinates.
