The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial health of the company, producing financial reports, developing strategies based on financial research, and supporting the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.
Job Description
Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
Developing, reviewing, monitoring and managing budgets.
Undertaking research into pricing, market trends, competitors and factors affecting performance.
Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure.
Preparing financial forecast.
Negotiating discount and payment terms.
Undertaking research for investment/business opportunities such as stocks, money market, high risk investment, etc.
Providing cost cutting strategies without affecting operation performance/productivity.
Providing operation performance/productivity strategies to senior executives.
Providing tax minimization/ planning strategies.
Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments.
Developing and managing financial systems/models.
Overseeing operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Developing and managing financial systems/models.
Producing long-term business plan.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Being a Certified Public Accountant or having a Masters in Business Administration is an advantage.
With 5 years of progressive experience handling accounting and finance in the same capacity.
Well-versed in Resources Management and People Management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
Adept in offering mentorship and guidance to subordinates.
Highly proficient in SAP Business One.
