Job Summary
The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and services. They lead a team of professionals, develop procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective and timely procurement operations. 
 
Job Description
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements. 
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals. 
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. 
  • Monitor vendor performance and relationships to ensure quality and reliability. 
  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. 
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards. 
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to align procurement with project goals. 
  • Resolve procuremtn-related issues and disputes. 
  • Continuously improve procurement processes and practices. 
  • Provide periodic reports to Management. 
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned within his/her capability. 
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Having a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of procurement experience in constructionindustry
  • Proficiency in using procurement software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendore management abilities
  • Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
