Job Summary
The Quality Assurance /Quality Control Engineer is responsible for the overall quality of all materials and construction activities. Develop a quality assurance plan for all activities to assure quality in all aspects of the works, and implement all quality procedures of all materials testing.
 
Job Description 
  • Monitor the job site in accordance with the plan and specifications of the project to ensure that quality standards are met so as to avoid non-conformities.
  • Monitor site inspection and internal and external surveillance as per project requirements.
  • Prepare QA/QC assurance report for assigned project.
  • Prepare quality control program to improve overall project efficiency. 
  • Monitor test results conducted by Laboratory Technicians. 
  • Check concrete design as prepared by Materials Engineer. 
  • Verify that all required quality procedures and systems are executed and sustained throughout the duration of the project. 
  • Prepares weekly inspection report and submits them to QA/QC Supervisor for the project.
  • Closely monitors ratifications to be done on discrepancies noted in the quality of workmanship.
  • Perform other management mandated functions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferably a licensed Engineer
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience as Materials Engineer or QA/QC Engineer with at leat 1 year of experience in the construction industry. 
  • Effective in task prioritization while taking into account shifting demands and timelines. 
  • Ability to make informed decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in managing documents
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing to do field work as needed.
